Hey, Spring is here, closely followed by Summer & Fall! Our last event scrubbed due to rain, Rail Trail ride planning is back! Help choose from two of many options. Each about equi distant from the city, chosen because there are bike rental options for those without handlebars who would like to ride along. 1. Lehigh Gorge, 25 mile downhill, has a shuttle at the end that will return you to cars in White Haven. 2. Northern Central Railroad Trail, runs from northeastern corner Maryland up 20 miles to Mason-Dixon line at York County, PA. Is an out&back so you can do as much as you like, spend more time picnic-ing, etc. Based on an hourly flat rate they'll cost about the same. 3. I know there are local options (Perkiomen, etc) but I do not know of rental services. Feel free to educate me and I'll add those in. 4. Will bring this back for foliage season based on interest.
