Introduction

looks like i've finally found people like me! for a couple years there i had some great adventures but i've been stuck in an office for the past 2. need to get back out there and find some fun. can't wait to get involved with this fun group!

What's your favorite outdoor activity?

favorites are probably the ones i don't get to do too often - surfing and snowboarding. also great are kayaking, mountain biking and countless others. have recently given adventure racing a shot, got utterly lost and our bikes broke about 7 different ways. it was fun though!

What activities would you like to do?

anything and everything, definitely believe in the try anything once philosophy.

Best trip you've ever taken:

20 country trip through the developing world. bungi jumping in nepal, shooting automatic weapons in vietnam, trans-siberian railroad... seen and did some crazy, crazy things. runner up trip was 5 months bumming around australia. expected to round out the top 3 will be a roadtrip to running of the bulls and tour de france with some skydiving and canyoning in switz.. leaving friday!

Can you suggest a good place for an activity or to hold a meetup?

tubing down the schyulkill - have only heard about it in the delaware, i don't think anyone's ever done it in the schuylkill before! plus there are several dams and spillways which make it a bit more extreme. a good endpoint might be the manayunk brewpub for some (or some more) refreshing cocktails.
