Any day is a great day to walk around the Chestnut Hill area. The Xmas lights going up now are just fantastic. We will take a 2 hour walk in the area then head out for a beer or something at Tavern on the Hill. All within walking distance.

In the Xmas spirit there is no charge.

    • “ Hi all, I missed you by 5 min according to the doorman;dropped my keys in the snow and dark. So I walked my dog for an hour trying to catch up with you. I finally gave up. I felt too shy to come into the bar after missing the walk. I still enjoyed the walk, but would have enjoyed the company as well. I hope to join you next time. Happy New Year, Monica and Bijou ”

      “ About 15 people showed up on time (I was told 3 or so turned up after we left) for a wonderful walk around Chestnut Hill. I've been through some of these areas dozens of time during the day, but never at night in the snow. Just great. Sorry, no one took photos. We had a great meal at Tavern on the Hill after the walk. ”
