The last time I did this event, we had a great turnout for the game and a good group headed to the bar afterwards. Let's try it again! The fall softball season is over but many of us from the team I was on don't want to stop just yet so while the weather is still sort of decent, we want to do at least one more pick up game. We're going to plan to play at the Lee Cultural Center fields at 44th and Haverford since they have lights.
You don't have to be a good softball player, just willing to try and have fun. There are no MAYBE's for this...if you respond YES, please be serious about coming out. I'm limiting this to 20 people so please don't make me tell someone that we're full and then not show up and we're short a player. You don't need any equipment except for a glove. We'll have bats and balls. Maybe even an extra glove or two, but we can't promise that.
After we're done playing we can head over to the Mill Creek Tavern (42nd and chester) and get some drinks. We had some good specials with the bar during our season so they might continue that - I'm working on it.
