Are you very stressed? Restless? Get sick a lot? Have chronic pain? Have a loved one that's going through a hard time? Just curious about learning relaxation or pain relief techniques?
Take a Level I Reiki class, a Japanese holistic healing technique. Reiki means life-force energy. The practice balances
your energy, and has many health benefits.
Rita is a Get Out Philly member and Reiki Master/teacher who has been practicing Reiki for 7 years and teaching it for 5 years. "I have used reiki a lot on my adventures, reikiing knees and feet after a long hike or reikiing my whole body to get over a night in a tent when I was about to catch a cold, or overcome jetlag."
Rita will teach two separate seminars in December, with a special focus on sports injuries, such as those incurred from hiking, running, repetitive motion like paddling, biking, tennis or climbing. But the course will be suitable for all
health issues, including things like colds, exhaustion or your general/chronic aches & pains. Reiki is also an excellent self-development tool, as it helps us cope with stress while we learn how to nurture our physical and emotional wounds. Reiki is often used as preventative alternative medicine.
