The Wissahickon Schuylkill Loop is a 15 mile hike that goes through various neighborhoods and habitats. Most of the hike is in the Wissahickon. For several miles we will be in neighborhoods and another several along the Schuylkill Path. Each time I do this hike I take a slightly different route. Midway we take a lunch break in Manayunk.

We start at HIll House in Chestnut Hill and head towards the city via Wissahickon Creek. Eventually we leave the creek area and head down to Manayunk. After a lunch stop we head along the Schuylkill till we reach Port Royal Ave or the Schuylkill Nature Center. We head up to the Andorra Shopping Center and continue for 3-4 blocks till we reach the park. We cross the park and head up to Hill House.

We will walk for around 5 hours covering 13-15 miles.
