Outdoor adventurers of all ages are invited to join Get Out Phlly *indoors* for a family-friendly afternoon at the ice rink. Perfect your triple axel during a public skating session in University City and, whenever you need a break, watch the action from the comfort of a heated room overlooking the ice!
Only Get Out Philly participants will have access to this heated room to enjoy music and good company both during the 90 minute session and for an additional half hour afterwards. Feel free to bring a snack - just for you or to share!
Not to be confused with the awesome annual nighttime outdoor skating year-end partay - TBA. Watch for it! 
WHAT TO WEAR
- Sequins optional
- Comfy socks for your rental skates
- A thin pair of gloves is a good idea
- Anything you'd wear on a chilly hike would work here - you want to be warm, but you'll be moving so you don't want to overheat or get too sweaty
- Layers are your friend; jeans are not. Should you land on your pitoot while skating, your jeans will get wet and then uncomfortably cold (just like on a hike - see above)
FEE
$10 covers admission/skate rental* & a small contribution to the rental of the heated room (plus the usual Amazon fee and $1 donation to Get Out Philly).
*Admission with our group already includes skate rental, so we can't offer a different rate if you bring your own skates. But we promise to think you're cool.

Woo hoo! All excited to reaquaint myself with my cold weather gear. We will be the best equipped group for keeping warm out there on the ice! Just don't build any campfires or try ice fishing... I'm pretty sure that will get you kicked out.
