Then onward south on the Schuylkill River Trail. We will see how far we can go. We'll then head downtown via small streets on a southern route. If we have time we may head over to the South Street area and Olde City, before heading back to the Reading Terminal.

I've located a zillion other neat places on our route. Here are some: Peter & Paul Basilica, Gallery 339, Rosen Wolf Gallery, Atwater Kent Museum, Phila Art Museum branches (in city), Civil War Cosortium, Dream Gardens, Romanian Museum and Gallery, etc. etc. etc. We'll walk by and if folks want to look closer we will.
If the South Street Bridge was up we'd head over to the Anthropology Museum and Franklin Field. Unfortunately it's being rebuilt.


The hike will last 3.5-4.5 hours. Plan 6-9 miles, mostly flat.
