Back we go for more...!

Plan on about 3 hours to travel, and allow about half an hour to prep...(change, sunscreen, water, restroom, etc...)

Prep:
The instructors all said it was just as much your mind as your body that enabled you to do the tricks, but I figured if I was in better shape it would have been easier....I'd recommend doing a couple hundred sit ups every day the week before.

If you've already had a lesson or two, you can join this class. And if you're a beginner, you'll get full instruction and lots of support and guidance before your first time up.

Kids are also welcome, please check the TSNY website for their guidelines regarding kids. If you would like to bring more than two guests, please ask them to join the group and RSVP for the event. The email activated waiting list is in effect!

What to Wear:
Snug workout clothes work the best. And wear a shirt you can tuck in (for when you're hanging upside down!) There is a changing area if you'd like to bring something else to wear for afterward. Definitely bring two pairs of socks! You won't wear shoes on the trapeze, but a pair of clogs or sandals to wear while on the ground makes things easier. Bring something warm to wear while you're on the ground waiting for your turn.

Cost:
$54 per person! If you go on your own they're $65 plus a $20 reservation fee, so major discounts! YEAH!! The cost includes a 2 hour lesson and instruction.

Transportation:
Carpool (will post spreadsheet!) OR
Chinatown bus (Chinatown is not very far at all! :)

I will ask everyone to send me their phone number before the event, and send you mine as well.

Cancellations:
We were expecting to be inside, but the rig is still outside at this time. The school will call me by 9 am if the weather looks bad and it will be canceled. I'll email and text everyone who has sent me their phone number. As of Monday 11/9/09, AccuWeather is predicting nothing but sunshine for the entire weekend though!

glad everyone had fun! We earned a lot of free classes; rather than give someone a free class, We'll spread the discount over everyone who attends time (and probably the time after that too :) Next class in late February or early March!

If you're driving Jess, I'll be a passenger.... no one has updated their tatus on the carpool spreadsheet yet, so if I cant get I ride I'll probably have to take the Chinatown bus!! Looking forward to meeting you too Della!

    •  This was soooo fun!!! I'm terrified of heights, but I'm so glad I did this! Everyone was cool & very supportive of each other. Loved it!!!
    •  This was a wonderful experience, very well thought out by the coordinator Amy. Loved every minute of it, wished I had more time to stay--- darn SPCA foster pups.

Lots of fun, finally clicking for me! Awesome to see some of the city with Lisa and Jess earlier as well. Fun times at dinner with fun new friends! :)

Terrifying and exhilarating at the same time. As a person with a fear of heights, it was a challenging day, but the trainers were professional and safety conscious and it was a bit of fun, just not fun enough to do again :) Parking was in the same parking lot as the rig and only $5! It's a bit of a distance, 3 hours for me either way and about $20 in tolls there and back. I think I might drag myself back to try it again if a place opened up closer to Phila.
    •  the best way to spend this muggy afternoon!
